Homecoming By: Josh Benner

Homecoming Week at Madison Academy was fun and unlike any other school I have been to.  Sunday the school was opened and each grade was able to decorate its section of the hall with class colors.  The ninth grade area was covered with pink streamers, pink balloons, and thick pink tape.  Monday was Tacky Day.  This one guy wore a plaid suit from the 70’s.  It was hilarious.  Another person wore a huge foam cowboy hat on his head, and I loved it!  Tuesday, was Disney Day.    I wore a Mickey Mouse shirt.  Goofy was at school and so were lots of Disney princesses.  Wednesday was Multiplicity Day.  Several of my new friends and I dressed up as fraternity boys.  Thursday was my favorite day.  It was called Southern Pride Day.  I am an outdoorsman so getting to wear my camouflage and prepare myself for hunting season was awesome!  Friday was Color Day.  As I mentioned before, our class’ color is pink.  There was lots of pink in all my classes.  The highlight of Homecoming Week will be the football game tonight.  I know the Mustangs will take the victory!
